(See ya there!)

Mood – Depression – Anxiety….are linked to your digestive health

Mental health and our sense of emotional well-being can be derailed by digestive impairment. Did you know 70% of your body’s serotonin production takes place in our gut? How about the role short chain fatty acids produced by your intestinal flora play in preventing anxiety? Join Dr. June Stevens as she shares the latest updates on the relationships between chronic stress, nutritional deficiencies, and genetic predispositions and the impact they may have on your mental emotional well-being.

Dr. June Steven’s ND grew up on a farm in Maine and has always had a love for plants and a deep appreciation for being out in nature. Her healthcare career path began in the United States Navy working as a registered nurse followed by pursing her true passion - Naturopathic Medicine. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ and completed her residency program in Scottsdale AZ. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing form the University of Southern Maine and, most recently, completed a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine as well as, an Advanced Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine.
