California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (RRC-CAMFT)

$500 Scholarship Available

We as a Board are delighted you are pursuing higher education in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.  We know the personal and economic/financial investment you are making in support of your goal to be a Marriage and Family Therapist.  Our Redding Regional Chapter would like to recognize and support the efforts of local graduate school students by offering this annual scholarship award.  Should you be chosen as the 2020 award recipient, you’ll receive $500 which may be used for tuition, books, conferences or any other relevant need.  In addition, you’ll receive your 2021 local RRC-CAMFT membership paid for.

The Scholarship Committee will screen applicants based on academic excellence, personal clarity and professional direction.  If you are interested please take a flyer and contact this year’s Scholarship Committee Chair Julie Boswell, LMFT for direction with completing your application.  In short, you’ll be asked to submit un-official transcripts, comment on your academic direction with potential contribution to the field of Marriage and Family Therapy, and write a 500 word (or less) essay.  Topic to provided with expressed interest to the Committee Chair.

NOTE:  All complete applications received prior to the deadline will receive a free 2021 membership to RRC-CAMFT.

The 3000 Club is a fun and convenient way to get training to use in your practice and toward gaining your 3000 hours for licensure.

Enjoy a free lunch, information and a chance to meet other therapists.

When: The Last Friday of the month at noon

Where:  Jan and Feb, 2020 at 940 Merchant St.

March- Dec, 2020 at Park Marina Center for Wellbeing (353 Park Marina Circle)
